The Eatiful Method
There are 10 core principles in the Eatiful Method that we have learned from many years of weight loss trial and error, from scientific research, and by working with people who want to lose weight.
Eatiful is based on Science
Fast eaters gain more weight.
Slow eaters consume less food and feel fuller.
Slow eaters consume fewer calories.
Slow eaters feel greater satiety.
Studies from Japan in 2011 and USA in 1999 show fast eaters gain more weight. Research by the University of Rhode Island showed slow eaters consumed fewer calories and reported greater satiety. Further reviews suggest that fast eating contributes to metabolic disorders. Additionally, Eatiful is creating its own data on the role of mindful eating in weight management and is currently undertaking an observational study with Liverpool John Moores University.
